This young son of Am/Can Ch. Quicksilver Rhythm and Blues RN RD. Odie is as impeccably sound coming and going and he has a strong, ground-covering side gait. Odie is strong muscled with a rock solid topline. He is a dog that can and will trot all day.
"Crosby" is a top special, winning 23 regional specialties, 3 Best in Shows, 35 Group 1. Crosby was the 2003 DCA National Champion, 2005 Eukanuba/AKC National Invitational BOB and Group II, 2005 Westminster Best of Breed, 2004 and 2006 Westminister Award of Merit, 2004 Eukanuba/AKC National Invitational-Award of Merit,. As of July 2009, Crosby has produced 10 specialty winning puppies to date; with 3 Best in Sweeps, 1 Best in Specialty, and has 18 champions to date with 6 puppies waiting on a major to finish. Crosby has 3 litters with young puppies ready to show soon. Crosby completed his road trial title in October of 2009 at 10 years of age and received a "Best Conditioned Dog" award.
"Odie's" dam, Ch. Melody Macarana, is line bred on Ch. Melody Fire on the Mountain CD. "LEVI" is one of the all time top stud dogs. "Levi" is known for his strong, powerful movement and it has come down to Odie.
Odie is my polite talking clown and always has something to say. Odie is silly, bouncy and perpetually happy with a continuous smile on his face. Odie loves to play ball and hide his toys. I hear he gets this from Dad. Loves to show and then go home and play with his human kids or whoever else he can manipulate into playing with him. Odie is well mannered and easy to live with.
Odie is the full brother to Ch. Melody My Way "Carly", who was RWB at DCA 2008 and finished at Heartland Dalmatian Club following DCA 2009.
